PENNSYLVANIA BLOGGER SHARES HER OLYMPIA EXPERIENCE

Mt. Olympus Water park was one of our favorite stops this summer. As you have read in my previous posts, our family took a trip to Wisconsin in July of this past summer. We had the opportunity to visit different places, thanks to my wonderful husband. One of the great things we did was visit the Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park.

In this post, I will be talking about the water-park. Prior to leaving for Wisconsin, we did some research on things to do in the Wisconsin Dells area. We were here before when we came out in 2012. We only spent a few hours up here, and those hours consisted of shopping and miniature golf. We found a fantastic deal online for an overnight package, so we took advantage of it.

When we first got there, we made a quick stop in the main lobby to register for our room. We also receive our wristbands. The wristbands got you in and out of the parks and you could charge food and souvenirs to your room as well. That was very convenient when you don’t want to worry about carrying money or a credit card.

Once our registration was complete, we parked our car in the lot for the water park. As we started to get out of the car, there was a torrential downpour. We waited for a few minutes, and just like that, it stopped and we were able to go into the park. The first place we headed was Poseidon’s Rage. It is their signature wave pool, complete with a 9 foot wave. Let me tell you, it was a blast…literally. Hubby and oldest went right out there and got into the action. Little man and I stayed back pretty far, and it still knocked me on my posterior. Little man body surfed all the way in.

Once we experienced the wave a few times, we went and checked out some of the other attractions. Hubby and oldest went to check out the body slides, and Jer and I went to the other wave pool (that was more to my liking. You could sit in tubes and just relax).
